As Director of Programs at Arch Grants, Matt leads Founder engagement and support for Arch Grants portfolio companies. Over the course of his career, Matt has held a wide variety of roles in the St. Louis startup ecosystem, spanning the economic development, nonprofit and venture capital sectors. Throughout these experiences, they’ve shared a common goal – helping to expand capacity and connectivity within the region’s emerging tech community. Matt is an alumnus of two well-respected civic leadership programs: the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs and the AmeriCorps VISTA program. A St. Louis transplant, Matt hails from Iowa City, Iowa, and holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Entrepreneurship from The University of Iowa.
